How big will the dogs be?

Our dogs are medium sized — the females should mature around 35 lbs, and the males, 45 lbs. Occasionally we will have a “runt” which may be more like 30 lbs if a female.

Will the pups be rough (long) haired or slick (short) haired?

Our puppies are slick coated! They range between short to medium coats.

What colors will the pups be?
Tate and Maple’s offspring is primarily black and white, but they also have thrown sables, black-and-tans, and lighter colored sables without the dark shading. (See “Past Pups” for photos of these different colors.)

Will all of the pups have freckles?
Most of our puppies do have freckles or “ticking”, but some do not.

What’s the price on a puppy?

Our 2023 pups start at $450, with a 50% non-refundable deposit upfront.

What do you do to make sure you find good homes for your pups?
Great question! We take care in selecting buyers for our animals. We visit with them at length to learn what they’re looking for, and to see if one of our dogs would be a good match. We highly encourage potential buyers to come out and meet us and the dogs in person beforehand, if at all possible! Beyond that, we also require information for reference of good ownership.

Are the dogs up to date on shots?

Yes! We get our pups on a vaccination schedule at between 6-8 weeks of age. This is for the Parvo/Distemper shots. Our adult dogs we also keep up to date for Rabies and Distemper.
